KPMG Abogados hires Mercedes Segoviano to lead the competition practice
KPMG Abogados has appointed Mercedes Segoviano as head of its competition practice. She joins as associate partner, coming from Deloitte Legal Spain.
Her background includes roles at leading international firms and at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for competition, giving her strong cross-border expertise.
She has also led competition compliance programmes and provided specialised training to clients across sectors.
The profile
Segoviano joins from Deloitte Legal Spain, where she led the competition and EU law practice. She has extensive experience advising on merger control proceedings before the European Commission and the CNMC, foreign direct investment filings, cartel investigations and State aid matters.
