MFA Legal & Tech hires Francisco Marques and Clara Nolasco
MFA Legal & Tech has strengthened its team with the addition of Francisco Marques Azevedo as senior associate and Clara Nolasco Lamas as consultant. Both join the Technology, Innovation and Regulatory practice, integrating the IP Litigation & Life Sciences area under the leadership of partner Patrícia Paias.
Francisco Marques Azevedo joins from Sérvulo & Associados. He has experience in EU competition law and life sciences, focusing on complex litigation and regulatory matters. Clara Nolasco Lamas, who over the past two years was part of GPA Advogados, has expertise in compliance and regulation in the financial sector, combined with practice in intellectual property and life sciences.
Francisco Marques Azevedo holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is currently completing an LL.M. at the same institution. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in competition and regulatory law (IDEFF) and pharmaceutical law (IURIS).
Clara Nolasco Lamas holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. She has an LL.M. in European and International Economic Law from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Munich) and is a member of the Luso-German Lawyers Association.
