Forvis Mazars becomes exclusive Marcalliance representative in Portugal
Forvis Mazars in Portugal is the new national representative in Marcalliance, which brings together 31 law firms worldwide. Present in 32 countries across Europe, North America, Central America, South America, Asia and Oceania, this international network comprises more than 2,000 professionals with experience in complex cross-border transactions for companies and private individuals.
Clients of Forvis Mazars in Portugal, particularly international clients, now have access to coordinated legal support in other jurisdictions where the Forvis Mazars Group does not have its own law firms. This access may be complemented by audit, tax and advisory services.

Forvis Mazars in Portugal
The Forvis Mazars law firm in Portugal began operations in 2024. Since then, it has recorded sustained growth, focusing on areas such as corporate and commercial law, M&A, tax law, litigation, among others.
Marcalliance was founded in 2013 with the aim of providing a full range of legal and tax services, combining specialised local expertise with international capabilities.
In terms of governance, it operates on a collegiate basis: all member firms are represented in the General Assembly, which is the main decision-making body. The representative of Forvis Mazars in Portugal will be Filipe Cerqueira Alves.
