Uría leads Slate’s €150M supermarkets buy in Portugal
Uría Menéndez has provided legal counsel to Slate Asset Management in the acquisition of a portfolio of 12 supermarkets in Portugal, valued at approximately €150 million. The portfolio consists of 12 commercial spaces leased to Continente/Continente Modelo, located in major urban areas and geographically spread throughout the country, mainly concentrated in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, Porto, and Faro. This acquisition from LCN Capital Partners marks Slate’s first investment in Portugal, enhancing its exposure to high-quality essential real estate assets in Europe, states Uría in a press release.
