Henko Partners has announced the acquisition of Galician companies MMYPEM JR S.L.U. and TEIGATMI and, at the same time, the launching of a service platform for the energy sector. Henko Partners is an independent Private Equity investor, founded by ex-Sherpa Capital members, focused on supporting outstanding Spanish and Portuguese mid-cap companies in markets with long-term growth trends.

The company stated: “We are proud to announce the launch of our new platform to create a leading international group specialized in engineering and technical services for energy transition and digitalization of the energy sector. Our strategy is to consolidate highly specialized technical services companies. We are initiating this process with the acquisition of two outstanding companies, MMYPEM JR S.L.U. and TEIGATMI.”

Araoz & Rueda, with a team comprising Corporate partner Pedro Rueda (pictured top left), associate María Nieto and Labour partner Clara Mañoso (pictured bottom left), advised Portuguese private equity fund H Capital Partners on the sale of TEIGATMI. Auren provided financial advice to TEIGATMI’s shareholders, which – prior to the transaction – were the Portuguese private equity fund H Capital and to the company’s managers.

On the other hand, BDO Financial advisory and Garrigues assisted MMYPEM´s sellers. Garrigues´ team was made up of partners Pablo Geijo (pictured top right) and Francisco Soto and principal associate Rita Rarís.

Bird & Bird provided Legal advice to Henko Partners with a Private equity team led by counsel Santiago Lardies (pictured top centre) and associate Julieta Bermúdez (pictured bottom centre), while Arcano Partners acted as financial advisor.
