Uría, L&W, EY Abogados assist in Trilantic €425m acquisition of Gransolar
Uría Menéndez has advised Trilantic Europe on its recent 60% investment in Gransolar´s stake, counselled by EY Abogados and Latham & Watkins
Gransolar is a leading international player in the design, construction and promotion of solar energy plants and solutions. Trilantic Europe is a mid-market, pan-European private equity firm. Trilantic Europe seeks opportunities where the firm’s pan-European network and local market expertise, sectorial knowledge and operational value-added resources can be leveraged.
Gransolar is integrated across the solar photovoltaic value chain, being a global leader in the design and manufacturing of trackers, a key component in utility-scale solar plants. The company is also participating in the development of new projects up to the ready-to-build stage, the construction of new plants, and the development and integration of energy storage solutions.
Gransolar is headquartered in Madrid, Spain and has global operations, with a presence in Europe, Australia, North America, South America and the Middle East.
The transaction is pending customary regulatory approvals.
