CTSU lures Rita Ferreira dos Santos from Linklaters
CTSU Deloitte Legal practice in Portugal has appointed the new partner as Energy and Infrastructure Projects, Public Procurement and Project Finance head of practice
CTSU announced that Rita Ferreira dos Santos (pictured) is the new partner leading the Energy and Infrastructure Projects, Public Procurement and Project Finance team at CTSU law firm, the Deloitte Legal practice in Portugal.
Rita Ferreira dos Santos has over 20 years’ experience of law practice, providing legal and regulatory advice on the full range of strategic development and financing of projects and deals, particularly in the infrastructure, energy, transport and health sectors.
She has substantial expertise in commercial contracts, concessions and public procurement, project financing, public-private partnerships, M&A of concession or regulated assets and regulatory know-how.
She regularly provides legal advice to sponsors, lenders, and awarding authorities in various large projects, successfully and effectively serving domestic and international clients, both in Portugal and in cross-border projects, emphasising Lusophone. African countries, such as Angola and Mozambique.
Prior to joining CTSU, she was a senior member of the Banking and Projects team at Linklaters LLP in Portugal and London, where she was seconded in 2006.
Rita Ferreira dos Santos holds a Law degree from the Universidade de Lisboa School of Law and two postgraduate degrees: in Health Law, from the Universidade Católica de Portugal, and in Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance, from the Universidade de Lisboa, as well as other specialised training in your area of practice.
She also chairs a non-profit public interest association in education, sports and social support for children and the elderly.
