New Business Law legal boutique La Guard is born

Ex-Ventura Garcés y López-Ibor partners have launched their own legal boutique, La Guard, to provide transversal advice in Business Law from all areas and specialities

Ricard Gené (second left), Jordi Vilalta (second right), Juan Pablo Correa Delcasso (first left) and Gerard Marata (first right), all former partners of Ventura Garcés y López-Ibor, have decided to open their own legal boutique called La Guard, in Barcelona. They will lead a team that will provide transversal advice in Business Law, offering highly qualified services with a great international projection, especially in relation to the French-speaking market and in cross-border operations.

According to the firm “the spirit of La Guard, synonym of protection is to accompany the client in all his projects and needs, providing creative solutions that adapt, at all times, to a strategic vision of his business.” According to its founding partners, “La Guard was created with the aim of becoming a reference law firm, made up of top-level professionals with a prestigious consolidated background. The firm was also created with the aim of ensuring that all its milestones, challenges and advice are related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDA) of the United Nations Global Compact, in order to integrate the principles of sustainability into the company.”
