Dentons appoints four as counsel

Dentons has just announced the promotion of four of its Madrid and Barcelona senior associates to counsel in the areas of B&F, Litigation, Real Estate and Corporate

Dentons has promoted Madrid office senior associates Luis Maíz (pictured), Bárbara Hernández (pictured top right), Arancha Barandiarán (pictured bottom left) and Barcelona office senior associate Natalia Ontiveros (pictured bottom right) to counsel.

Before joining Dentons Banking & Finance department, Luis Máiz was a senior associate at Allen & Overy in the same department in Madrid and was also seconded to the leveraged Finance team in Allen & Overy London.

Before joining Dentons, Bárbara Hernández-Mora was an associate at Linklaters. Bárbara specialises in Property Financings, structured Finance, Restructuring-related to Real Estate assets as well as “sale and lease-back” transactions.

Arancha Barandiarán concentrates on complex Civil and Commercial Litigation and Domestic Arbitration. Her practice also includes shareholder/company law Disputes, Product Liability and Insolvency.

Before joining Dentons, Natalia Ontiveros spent five years in Fieldfisher Jausas Legal & Tax and previously spent 16 years in EY in the Corporate and M&A department. Natalia has more than 20 years of experience in Corporate law and Mergers and Acquisitions.
