Jausas and Cuatrecasas instructed on Grupo Catalana Occidente deal

Law firm Jausas advised the shareholders of Grupo Previsora Bilbaina on its acquisition by Grupo Catalana Occidente for €129.9 million.

 

Under the agreement, Grupo Catalana Occidente has acquired the insurance company Grupo Previsora Bilbaína for €76.6 million, the mediation company Azkarán for €16.7 million and the funeral business for €36.6 million.

The Jausas team advising on the deal included partners María Luisa de Alarcón and Nieves Briz.

A Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira team – including partners partners Victor Xercavins and Gerard Correig – advised Grupo Catalana Occidente on the transaction.
