Argentina’s former international disputes director joins Uria in Madrid

Uría Menéndez announced that Gabriel Bottini joins the firm’s Madrid office as a partner. Bottini was the first National Director of International Affairs and Disputes at Argentina’s Treasury Attorney-General’s Office.

During his time in office, Bottini was involved in over 50 international arbitration cases under ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC rules. He has also been appointed as an arbitrator in various investment arbitrations. Bottini is also a member of the group of experts in investment policy convened by the World Economic Forum as well as other institutions. In additHe teaches international law at the University of Buenos Aires.
