Youandlaw advises Viterbit on Infojobs acquisition
Infojobs has acquired 100% of the share capital of Viterbit, a Spanish recruitment-technology startup, in a transaction advised by Youandlaw. Under the terms of the deal, Viterbit’s founders, Dimitri Nicolau, Ariel Gutiérrez and Marcos Gómez, will remain at the helm of the company as part of a five-year strategic plan. Through the transaction, Infojobs aims to develop a new generation of automated solutions for businesses and accelerate the technological transformation of the recruitment sector.
Viterbit was founded in 2021 as a technology startup offering recruitment and selection software designed to optimize every stage of the candidate selection process through its own application. The platform’s offering includes multiposting tools to widen recruitment sources and reach more candidates in less time, a candidate-tracking and database management system, and features aimed at ensuring a positive candidate experience.
In 2023, Youandlaw advised Viterbit on a €1.6 million funding round aimed at supporting its growth and expansion plans across Europe, consolidating its presence in its then-main markets of Mexico and Spain.
The Youandlaw team advising Viterbit was formed by Marta Fabios, Icíar Zapatero and Pablo Casado, partner at the firm and lawyer in charge of the legal advice to Viterbit.
