WFW counsels Naturgy on a €600m green financing

Watson Farley & Williams has counseled Naturgy Renovables on a €600m green financing granted by BBVA and CaixaBank to the subsidiary of Naturgy Energy, S.A. (Naturgy)

BBVA and CaixaBank acted as coordinating entities, bookrunners, MLAs and green agents.

Naturgy is a leading multinational company in the energy sector, present in Spain and Latin America, and a pioneer in gas and electricity integration. Its subsidiary, Naturgy Renovables, manages the group’s activities in the renewable energy sector.

The WFW Madrid team advising Naturgy Renovables was led by Finance partner Rodrigo Berasategui (pictured) supported by senior associate Álvaro Barro.
