WFW appoints García Guijarro as Head of Energy Europe-Americas

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has announced the appointment of María Pilar García Guijarro, Managing Partner of the firm’s Madrid office, to its newly restructured global Energy leadership team. García Guijarro will take on the role of Head of Energy for Europe and the Americas, marking a significant step in her career and reinforcing WFW’s commitment to the evolving energy sector.

This leadership reshuffle also includes Henry Stewart, based in London, continuing as Global Head of Energy, and Clarinda Tjia-Dharmadi, a partner in Singapore, taking on the role of Head of Energy for the Asia-Pacific region. The new team aims to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the energy transition, as well as the increasing globalization and interconnectivity of energy supply and demand.

García Guijarro, who joined WFW in 2009 and became Managing Partner of the Madrid office in 2011, brings over 20 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Renowned for her expertise in renewable energy and gas, her client portfolio includes prominent national and international investment funds, financial institutions, and key industry players.
