WFW advises Sonnedix on the acquisition of two Spanish PV portfolios

Watson Farley & Williams advised Sonnedix on the acquisition of two Spanish PV portfolios, the first of 11.3 MW and the second of 26.9 MW

The first deal was carried out in November, when solar energy producer Sonnedix bought nine solar photovoltaic plants, with a combined capacity of 11.3 MW, from Perwyn.

The second portfolio, purchased in the beginning of December, is composed of 21 solar photovoltaic plants with a combined capacity of 26.9 MW. The seller was global asset manager Fortress.

Sonnedix already had 252 MW of photovoltaic capacity in Spain.

Both deals were led by managing partner María Pilar García Guijarro (pictured) and David Diez, who were assisted by senior associates Javier Ester and Román Pazos
