Watson Farley Williams advises Sabadell on €200m debt restructuring

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) acted for Sabadell, the agent for a bank syndicate, on the refinancing of €200 million of debt for Manchasol 2.

Manchasol 2 – which operates a solar plant in Ciudad Real, Castilla-La Mancha – is owned by Saeta Yield, the renewable energy operator.

The Sabadell-led bank syndicate included Santander, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, Société Générale.

Partner Rodrigo Berasategui led the WFW team which also included partners David Díez and Luis Soto, as well as senior associate José María Anarte, and associate Gonzalo Mateos.
