Vincent AI introduces its Winter ’25 update
vLex has released the Winter ’25 update to its Vincent AI platform, which introduces several key innovations, including the addition of multimodal AI, which enables the analysis of audio and video files, improving the automation of legal tasks. In addition, the upgrade optimizes workflows such as document anonymization, court view analysis and argument creation, raising the accuracy and efficiency of the system.
Multimodal AI: audio and video file transcription and analysis
This update consolidates the integration of multimodal AI into Vincent AI, enabling the processing and analysis of audio and video files, as well as text and images. This innovation enhances the understanding and resolution of complex legal tasks by combining information from different formats.
One of its main applications is the new Analyze a Judicial View workflow, which allows to automatically transcribe hearings and extract arguments and procedural strategies more efficiently, integrating textual, visual and audio data for deeper analysis.
New Build an Argument workflow version
The new version of the Build an Argument workflow streamlines the development of sound legal arguments. On the one hand, by providing direct links to relevant legal citations that strengthen the argument and, on the other hand, by suggesting the strongest lines of argument in a case, through a detailed breakdown of the positions with the strongest normative and jurisprudential support.
Expanding global legal content
Vincent AI also expands its global reach with new legal-specific workflows for Hong Kong, Italy, Peru and Ecuador, adding to previous expansion in Brazil, France and Portugal. The platform now offers coverage in 16 countries and more than 200 jurisdictions, making it an essential tool for international law firms and legal departments.
“The real power of data lies in its relevance and ability to be interpreted and leveraged,” says Lluís Faus, CEO of vLex. “The new multimodal AI feature enables unprecedented efficiency in analyzing audio and video data to improve Vincent AI suggestions and workflows. In addition, our geographic expansion continues, spanning more than 200 jurisdictions in 16 countries across five continents, cementing Vincent AI as the most relevant and beneficial legal research and workflow platform for an ever-growing global community of legal professionals.”
Upcoming developments for Vincent AI in 2025
In addition to these enhancements, vLex is working on the creation of Vincent Studio, a space where law firms and legal departments will be able to design and customize their own workflows to better suit their needs.
