VdA expands its network to Brazil and Spain
VdA Legal Parters has announced the expansion of its network to Brazil and Spain. This move represents a major step in Vieira de Almeida‘s international expansion strategy. The firm aims to strenghten its presence in key markets in order to enhance client proximity and address the evolving demands of today’s fast-paced, highly competitive business landscape. It also underscores the firm’s commitment to fostering synergies across the jurisdictions in which it operates while deepening commercial ties within the European Union and the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP), states VdA.
VdA Legal Partners will now have a presence in Brazil and Spain, exclusively providing foreign law consultancy services. In Brazil, its operations will be led by Fernando Prado Ferreira, a dual-qualified lawyer in Brazil and Portugal, who previously served as the partner in charge of the Portuguese Desk at the Brazilian law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados. In Spain, the firm will be represented by Fernando Resina da Silva, a partner at VdA.
“This expansion of the VdA Legal Partners network to two of the economies with the greatest impact on Portugal is a very significant milestone in our international growth path. We want to be with our clients in the markets where they operate and we want to bring Portugal closer to Brazilian and Spanish investors”, emphasises Paula Gomes Freire, managing partner of VdA (pictured).
