VdA endorses manifesto for new paradigm of sustainable development
VdA and more than 60 companies have signed a manifesto to launch a new paradigm of sustainable development promoted by the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD)
The initiative aims to defend that the solution to the crisis caused by the covid-19 pandemic also involves promoting a transformation of the development model based on five principles: promotion of sustainable and inclusive development, promotion of growth, pursuit of efficiency, strengthening resilience and strengthening corporate citizenship.
Taking advantage of the crisis as an opportunity to rethink the future, the manifesto’s signatory organisations share the vision of more inclusive, sustainable and value-sharing growth with society and future generations.
