VdA appoints three new partners

VdA has appointed Carla Gonçalves Borges, Pedro Pereira Coutinho and Tiago Correia Moreira as new partners of the firm´s litigation & arbitration, real estate, and banking & finance practice areas respectively

Gonçalves (pictured left) joined VdA in 2013. She focuses her practice in commercial and civil litigation and in arbitration, both national and international, acting often as an arbitrator. She acts mainly in judicial and arbitration proceedings, representing clients from the most different sectors of activity, including banking, funds and financial services, energy, construction, infrastructure, public-private partnerships, industry, sports, commerce and distribution, telecommunications and emerging technologies, health, tourism and leisure.

Pereira (pictured middle) joined VdA in 2016 and specializes in real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale and lease of real estate assets, global assistance in the development of real estate projects (residential, retail and tourism), drafting of architecture, engineer, project management, works supervision and construction contracts (both for new construction and renovations).

Correia (pictured right) joined VdA in 2003 and throughout his career he has been involved in transactions across the banking and financial sectors, particularly in the acquisition and sale of non-performing loans and secured loans (including aeronautic financing), as well as all regulatory work pertaining to these sectors.
