Various law firms advise on the €425m acquisition of Baldocer by Grupo Lamosa

Various law firms have advised on the acquisition of Grupo Baldocer, a world leader in the manufacture of tile, for €425m by Grupo Lamosa. Deloitte Legal and Gómez Acebo and Pombo have advised Grupo Lamosa.

The purchase will be made through two payments, the first for €354 million euros at the time of closing the transaction, and the second payment in 2025 for an amount not less than €71 million euros, amount that could vary depending on its results.

Grupo Lamosa is the second largest ceramic producer worldwide, with presence in 9 countries, focused on the manufacture and marketing of ceramic tiles, adhesives and insulation, with a history of more than 130 years in the building materials industry.

Deloitte Legal has advised Grupo Lamosa on the tax aspects of the purchase with a team formed by Javier Pérez Olivares (partner), Sergio Ramirez Soto, (senior associate) and Javier Sainz de Murieta (associate).

The GA_P team that has advised in the process has been formed by a team led by Pablo Fernández Cortijo and Constantino Pérez Salgado, partner and of counsel of coporate, and corporate associates Javier Reyna, Carolina Orri and Rodrigo Fernández-Chillón.

Cuatrecasas has advised Spanish tile manufacturer Baldocer with a team formed by Pablo Cubel and Juan Grima, partners of the corporate and M&A area.
