US firm Harris Moure opens Barcelona office
US-based law firm Harris Moure has opened an office in Barcelona.
A firm statement said the new office would focus on helping American companies “navigate Europe” as well as assisting European companies in ventures in the US and China.
The office will be headed by Nadja Vietz, a lawyer licensed in Spain, Germany and the US.
Vietz joined Harris Moure’s Seattle office in 2004 following a number of years spent in private practice in Barcelona advising US, German and French companies on matters in Spain.
Vietz will divide her time between Spain, Germany and the United States.
Together with Harris Moure’s China legal team, the Barcelona office will also “coordinate China legal work for European companies”, the statement said.
