Uría Menéndez hires David Vilches as counsel

Uría Menéndez has hired David Vilches (pictured), tax inspector since 2010, as counsel in the tax department.

Vilches holds a degree in law and business administration from the Carlos III University and has spent his professional career in the Tax Agency as Head of the inspection team, forming part of the National International Taxation Office since 2015, where he has specialised in transfer pricing issues (leading verification procedures and APAs). Since 2017, he has combined these functions with the position of delegate representing the Spanish Administration in various OECD Working Groups.

He also has teaching experience as an expert lecturer in international taxation at the Centro de Estudios Financieros and the ESADE business school, among others. He is a regular speaker at forums on international taxation and has published numerous analyses in specialised tax publications.
