Uría Menéndez and Linklaters advises on the 150m share capital increase

Uría Menéndez and Linklaters have advised on the 150 million share capital increase of Técnicas Reunidas, to benefit from the extraordinary investment cycle in the energy sector and decarbonisation.

The transaction is being advised and underwritten by Barclays, Banco Santander, BBVA, HSBC, and Société Générale, as global coordinators; Uría Menéndez and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, as legal advisors to Técnicas Reunidas in Spain and the United States, respectively; Linklaters, as legal advisors to the global coordinators in Spain and the United States, AZ Capital and STJ Advisors as financial advisors and Georgeson as information agent.

Técnicas Reunidas on the share capital increase of 150 million euros, with preferential subscription rights for shareholders, through the issuance of approximately 24,000 new shares representing 43.7% of the share capital before the capital increase. Some of the issuer’s significant shareholders undertook to subscribe their shares in the capital increase.

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (GA_P) has also advised on this operation Técnicas Reunidas on the €150 million capital increase process.
