Uría Menéndez advises on the sale of Novartis headquarters
Uría Menéndez has advised BC Partners and FREO Group on the sale of the Monumento office building in Barcelona, headquarters of Novartis, as well as on the cancellation of the associated financing.
Global investment firm BC Partners and international asset manager FREO Group have announced the sale of the Monumento building, headquarters of Novartis, located at Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanas 764 in Barcelona, to InmoCaixa. The building has a surface area of 12,000 square metres, divided into nine floors above ground and another four underground parking floors with 114 spaces.
The team was made up of Diego Armero (partner, M&A – Real Estate), Iván Abad (partner, M&A – Real Estate); Luis Alberto Carrión (managing associate, Tax); Ana Vargas (associate, Finance); María Llosá (associate, M&A – Real Estate); and Candela Medrano (trainee lawyer, M&A – Real Estate).
