Uría Menéndez advises on the acquisition of Evolutio Business Connectivity from Portobello.

Uría Menéndez has advised Lyntia Network on the acquisition of Evolutio Business Connectivity, a Spanish company belonging to the Evolutio Group, a leader in the integration of cloud services and cybersecurity, whose main shareholder is the independent private equity firm Portobello Capital.

The acquisition of Evolutio Business Connectivity, a company dedicated to the network infrastructure business in Spain and recognized for its solid track record serving Evolutio’s wholesale business, establishes an important milestone in the Spanish B2B market that will allow lyntia Networks to expand its service offering and further consolidate its position in the fiber optic market.

In addition to this operation, this agreement includes collaboration in the provision of telecommunications services, which will strengthen its positions in the corporate telecommunications market in Spain in the long term.

The operation involves the addition to the staff of lyntia Networks of more than 100 professionals with a long history in the sector and complementary skills in products and services. This will enable it to provide even better support to its wholesale customers by expanding its range of innovative solutions tailored to their needs.

The firm team has been formed by Manuel Echenique (partner, M&A-private equity, Madrid); Guillermo del Río (senior associate, M&A-private equity, Madrid); Clara Muñoz (senior associate, M&A-private equity, Madrid); Gonzalo Sanz (junior associate, corporate, Madrid); Manuel Velez (partner, public law, Madrid); Javier Carvajal (junior associate, public law, Madrid).
