Uría advises Ardian on €109M Faro sale to Renfe
Uría Menéndez has advised Ardian on the sale of the office building known as “Faro” to Renfe for €109 million. The asset is located in the Méndez Álvaro area of Madrid and will become the railway operator’s new corporate headquarters.
According to the firm, the deal stands out as one of the largest office transactions in Spain so far this year, in a market that has seen selective activity concentrated on prime assets in established business districts.
The team
Uría Menéndez provided coordinated, multi-practice legal advice, with several teams involved in the transaction. The mandate was led by Diego Armero Montes, with support from Rafael Castillo Echevarría, Javier Toro Torcal and Virginia Porrúa Perea (real estate), alongside Xavier Codina García-Andrade (regulatory) and Miguel Ángel Buitrago García (planning).
