Uría and PLMJ advise on photovoltaic plant project in Estremoz

Uría Menéndez has advised Hyperion Renewables on the financing for the construction and development of a photovoltaic plant with a planned installed capacity of 51.8 MW, located in Estremoz, district of Évora. The financing was provided by Banco Santander Totta, which was advised by PLMJ on this transaction.

Hyperion Renewables is a group specialized in renewable energy, focused on the energy transition through the development, operation, and management of sustainable projects in solar, wind, and other clean energy sources.

The Uría Menéndez team that advised Hyperion Renewables on this financing operation was led by José António Reymão Nogueira (principal associate, Banking and Finance) and supported by lawyers Diogo Zambujo (senior associate, Banking and Finance) and Francisca Costa (junior associate, Banking and Finance). The regulatory aspects of the project were handled by Gonçalo Andrade e Sousa (principal associate, Energy and Infrastructure).

PLMJ worked with the bank financing the operation, Santander Totta. The team was led by Banking and Finance and Capital Markets partner, Pedro Siza Vieira, and included lawyers João Terrinha and Marta Spínola from the same team.
