UM appoints new head of Tax and Labour area

Uría Menéndez has appointed Victor Viana Barral as head of the Tax and Labour area replacing Rafael García Llaneza

Uría Menéndez partner Victor Viana Barral is, effective January 1, head of the Tax and Labour area of Uría Menéndez, replacing Rafael García Llaneza, who remains as the partner in charge of management. Victor’s appointment is part of the gradual process of generational change in the firm’s management positions and bodies.

Víctor (pictured), a lawyer with Uría Menéndez since 2000 and a partner since 2008, specialises in Corporate Tax Law and frequently advises on M&A operations, Corporate Restructuring, Real Estate deals, International Taxation and Tax procedures.
