Sérvulo advises TAP on SPDH stake sale to Menzies
Sérvulo & Associados advised TAP – Transportes Aéreos Portugueses on the disposal of its 49.9% stake in SPdH – Serviços Portugueses de Handling to Menzies Aviation Portugal Serviços de Carga. Completion of the transaction remains subject to the fulfilment of applicable conditions precedent.
According do Sérvulo, the signing of the contracts marks a key step toward the effective transfer of TAP’s shareholding in SPdH, enabling the divestment to proceed and allowing the airline to sharpen its focus on its core aviation business. The transaction is consistent with the commitments undertaken in the context of the European Commission’s decision approving the TAP Group’s restructuring plan.
