Squire Patton Boggs has advised the Colisée Group on the purchase of a nursing home in San Tirso, Porto

Squire PattonSquire Patton Boggs has advised the Colisée Group on the purchase of a nursing home in San Tirso, in the city of Porto (Portugal). With this acquisition, the Colisée Group enters the Portuguese market as one of the main operators in the Iberian market.

Colisée Group is a multinational of French origin, majority owned by the private equity fund EQT, with more than 40 years of experience in the service and care of the elderly and people with different degrees of dependency and is one of the most active global operators with presence in France, Belgium, Italy, China, Spain and now Portugal.

The residence acquired in Portugal has a total of 72 places and a team of 60 people and its management and growth has been entrusted to the Spanish team of the Colisée Group. The group in Spain has a team of 4,500 professionals, offers more than 6,500 residential and day centre places, and has 55 residential and day centres throughout Spain.
