Squire and RocaJunyent advised on the acquisition of Jetnet’s fiber optic networks (FTTH) by Excom

JetNet has sold part of its infrastructure consisting of fiber optic networks (FTTH) to Excom. This deal involves 23,000 building units in municipalities located in Granada, Málaga, Almería, and Jaén. From now on, both operators will jointly operate the transmitted network. JetNet’s clients will continue to be managed by JetNet with the same quality standards it has been operating until now.

Excom is a Spanish telecommunications group backed by Formentor Capital. Excom was established in 2001 and since then has experienced exponential growth, becoming the leading local operator in rural areas of Spain.

Jetnet is a telecommunications operator based in Granada that started operating in 2002.

Squire Patton Boggs (Madrid Office) has acted as Excom’s legal advisor with a team formed by Carlos Blanco Morillo (M&A partner) and Elena Ferrer Velasco (M&A associate).

RocaJunyent has acted as JetNet’s legal advisor with a team led by Lourdes Amigó de Bonet (M&A director).
