Squire advises Sherpa Capital and Moventia on the sale of Inurba Mobility to VisionEdgeOne

Squire Patton Boggs has advised Sherpa Capital and Moventia on the sale of their majority stake in Inurba Mobility, a leading Spanish urban bike platform formerly known as CityBike, to VisionEdgeOne (VE-1), an international infrastructure investment fund backed by US-based GCM Grosvenor.

Founded as a spin-off from the Martí family’s Catalan mobility group, Inurba Mobility has become a key player in the European micromobility space. The company provides urban bicycle solutions in multiple European cities, including Gdansk (Poland), Helsinki and Vantaa (Finland), Clermont-Ferrand (France), and Gijón (Spain). The deal was finalised after Inurba obtained the necessary authorisations to renew its operating licences in several European cities.

The sale represents a significant milestone in the Spanish mobility sector.

The legal team advising on the transaction was led by partner Pablo García and senior associate Luis Gutiérrez, both based in the firm’s Madrid office.
