Spear Legal hires Miriam Campos from RFF Lawyers
Spear Legal has hired Miriam Campos Dionísio as senior associate in the firm’s tax law team. The lawyer moves from RFF Lawyers.
Throughout her career, Dionísio has advised companies and individuals on complex tax matters, including corporate restructuring transactions, M&A deals, family wealth reorganisation and investment projects in Portugal. Her practice also covers tax advisory in the areas of personal income tax (IRS), corporate income tax (IRC), VAT, property transfer tax (IMT) and stamp duty, along with experience in pre-litigation and tax litigation, handling proceedings before the Tax Authority and national courts.
Academic background
Dionísio holds a law degree and a master’s degree in Legal and Forensic Sciences from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She also completed a postgraduate programme in European Customs Law at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica.
According to António Gaspar Schwalbach, managing partner of Spear Legal, the hire “concretises the growth plan we defined for our first year of activity,” adding that the firm is glad to count on experienced professionals who believe in the project and identify with how Spear Legal wants to build itself.
