Spain MOJ names Aitor Cubo Digital Transformation Director
Aitor Cubo has been named new Digital Transformation Director at the Ministry of Justice
Aitor Cubo (pictured) joins the Ministry of Justice to beef up its Digital Transformation. He comes from the Inter-American Development Bank, where he has been a senior Government Digital Transformation specialist in its Washington DC headquarters since 2019, boosting Digital Transformation processes in Latin America.
Cubo, a Computer Science graduate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Psychology graduate from UNED, has a long career in the Spanish Public Administration, where he has been involved in various information technology and digital administration projects in several Ministries, his last seven years working at the Ministry of Finance as a deputy director.
He has been appointed Digital Transformation Director, a recently created Ministry of Justice Directorate that replaces the former Directorate for Modernization of Justice, Technological Development and Recovery and Archives Management that was headed by Sofía Duarte.
