Sofia Galvão Advogados advises ROSP Group on €50m Portuguese land deal

Sofia Galvão Advogados acted for ROSP Group on the €50 million acquisition of land on the Troia peninsula in Portugal for the purposes of developing a tourist resort.

The land was acquired from Sonae Capital subsidiary Soltroia.

A Sonae Group statement said: “The project to be developed by ROSP Group is based on a high-quality low-density touristic development carefully fitted to the location’s environment and surroundings. Therefore, contacts with local and central entities shall be immediately initiated to ensure the sustainability of the project.”

The Sofia Galvão Advogados team was led by partners Sofia Galvão and Hugo Nunes.

Sonae Capital was advised by its in-house legal team on the deal.
