Simmons & Simmons hires Álvaro Barro

Simmons & Simmons has made a move that represents a strong boost to its growth strategy in Madrid. Álvaro Barro, until now head of banking and finance at Ontier, joins the leading law firm in Madrid led in Spain by Eduardo Peñacoba.

With a degree in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an International MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, Álvaro Barro, with more than twenty years of experience, worked before joining Ontier as a senior associate at Watson, Farley & Williams, having previously worked at Ramón y Cajal Abogados and at the legal department of the financial management firm Unión Fenosa.
