Lisbon-based law firm Sérvulo has hired Francisco Barona as partner in its finance and governance team.
Prior to joining Sérvulo, Barona (pictured) was a partner at Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados (SLCM), where he led the banking and finance department. His career has also included spells as Banco de Portugal and Proença de Carvalho & Associados.
He brings with him a team of two lawyers, Patrícia Costa Gomes and José Guilherme Gomes.
Patrícia Costa Gomes has about fifteen years of professional experience and joins Sérvulo as a senior lawyer. Previously she practiced at PLEN, PBBR and Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados.
José Guilherme Gomes joins Sérvulo as a lawyer. Previously he was a lawyer and trainee at Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados and a technical-jurist at financial regulator CMVM.
