Sérvulo integrates nine new associates
Sérvulo & Associados has integrated nine new associates, adding lawyers to its tax, public, commercial/corporate & M&A, European & competition, financial & governance, real estate and banking & financial departments. The firm now counts more than 130 lawyers.
Gonçalo Grade joins the tax and public departments. He specializes in Customs, Tax, Export Controls and Restrictive Measures law, bringing six years of experience as a Technical Adviser at Portugal’s Permanent Representation to the European Union between 2020 and 2026, where he represented national interests in European legislative processes and negotiations. He previously served as an aide in the Cabinet of the Minister of Finance between 2017 and 2020.
Gustavo de Almeida Neves moves from DLA Piper to join the public law department. He has been a guest teaching assistant at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Law since 2020 and is an Integrated Assistant Researcher at the Lisbon Public Law Research Centre. Between 2023 and 2025 he was a consultant on a legistics research project for Portugal’s Institute of Registries and Notaries.
Sara Marques de Lemos also joins the public law department, moving from BAS, where she had worked since 2022. She holds a law degree and a master’s in Law and Legal Science, specializing in Administrative Law, both from the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Law.
Mariana Brazão joins the commercial, corporate & M&A department from Cuatrecasas, bringing more than eight years of experience in corporate matters advising domestic and international clients in the food and beverage, agri-food, healthcare and tourism sectors. She previously worked as a guest assistant professor at the University of Lisbon and holds a postgraduate degree in Insolvency Law.
Inês Delgado Martins joins the European & competition department from PLMJ, where she practiced since 2023 in Portuguese and European competition law, as well as in Portuguese-speaking African jurisdictions, covering litigation, regulatory matters, compliance programs, training and internal audits.
Nadine Gomes returns to Sérvulo, where she previously trained in 2019, to join the tax department. She moves from Vieira de Almeida, where she worked since 2023 advising on tax matters related to financial-sector transactions and products, as well as tax litigation involving investment funds in EU law disputes and indirect taxation. She holds a law degree and a master’s in Tax Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Constança Ferreira Lourenço joins the financial & governance department, also moving from Vieira de Almeida, where she worked in Infrastructure, Banking and Finance with a focus on Fintech and Project Finance. She holds a law degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a master’s in International Commercial Law from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
Carlota Januário joins the real estate department from Cuatrecasas, where she worked since 2023. She holds a law degree and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Law, both from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
João Diogo Correia moves from Eversheds Sutherland Portugal to join the banking & finance department. He holds a master’s in Business Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a postgraduate degree in Securities Law from the University of Lisbon.
