Santander closes €50M fund finance for Aurica: advisors
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader has advised Banco Santander, acting as lender, on a dual fund finance transaction for the Aurica Search Fund and Aurica Private Equity funds, with an aggregate value of approximately €50 million. Aurica was advised by Garrigues on this transaction.
The transaction involved a dual financing structure covering both the Aurica Search Fund and Aurica Private Equity vehicles. It reflects the growing role of fund finance within the private capital sector, where such structures continue to serve as a financing tool for investment funds and their managers, states Hogan Lovells Cadwalader.
Aurica is a private capital manager focused on the growth capital segment, investing in minority stakes in middle-market companies with international growth ambitions. The firm has more than 20 years of experience specialising in private equity, search funds, and fund selection, with assets under management exceeding €600 million.
