Pinsent Masons and Garrigues on Renovalia €207M deal
Renovalia has completed a refinancing of up to €207 million for a photovoltaic portfolio of 53.19 MW currently in operation across Spain. Caixabank acted as the financing entity and agent for the transaction. Renovalia was advised by Pinsent Masons, while Caixabank received legal advice from Garrigues.
The portfolio includes the Casa del Ángel, Electrosolar Albacete, Forntellas, Lasesa, Tordesillas, Valtierra I & II and Valtierra III solar parks. The financing meets the requirements to be classified as Green Financing and has been structured as a long-term Project Finance facility.
