Saeta Yield advised by Cuatrecasas on Portuguese wind farm acquisitions

A team of lawyers from Cuatrecasas’ Lisbon office advised wind farm operator Saeta Yield on the acquisition of Lestenergia, a portfolio of nine wind farms located in Portugal.

The wind farms, which have a total installed capacity of 144MW, were bought from ProCME, the Portuguese subsidiary of the ACS Group. They are located in the Guarda and Castelo Branco regions.

The deal was valued at €104 million.

The Cuatrecasas team was coordinated by partner Francisco Santos Costa, and included associates Ana Isabel Marques, Joana Soares Quirino, Catarina Lins de Aguiar and Lourenço Corte-Real.
