S&S bolsters Healthcare & Life Sciences area with new partner

Simmons & Simmons has added Raquel Ballesteros as a new Dispute Resolution partner of its Madrid office Healthcare and Life Sciences area

Raquel (pictured) joins the firm after 14 years as a partner of Bird & Bird, and her arrival will strengthen Simmons & Simmons’ Healthcare and Life Sciences practice in Europe. Raquel is ranked in prestigious international legal directories and she is widely recognised in the Healthcare sector.

Raquel brings with her a strategic and innovative approach thanks to her extensive experience in arbitration and European e-health projects. She has advised international consortia and the European Commission on matters relating to Employment, Corporate and Commercial, and Financial Markets. She graduated in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
