RSN announces two promotions

RSN Advogados has announced the promotion of two of its lawyers: Joana Barbosa Moreira and Luizete Raquel Teixeir

Joana Barbosa Moreira (pictured left) is part of the Commercial and Corporate Law team and Luizete Raquel Teixeira (pictured right) will start to perform the duties of coordinator of the Solicitor and Notarial Deeds Department.

Joana Barbosa Moreira holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra. She holds a postgraduate degree in Labour and Social Security Law from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa-Escola do Porto, and a Master’s degree in Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra. Barbosa Moreira started her professional activity at Nuno Cerejeira Namora, Pedro Marinho Falcão & Associados where she remained for seven years, first as a trainee and then as a lawyer. Between 2017 and 2018 she represented Sousa Guedes, Oliveira Couto & Associados. In the four years prior to joining RSN Advogados, Joana Barbosa Moreira practiced law as a sole practitioner, with a special focus on the areas of Labour Law, Insolvency and Credit Recovery.

Luizete Raquel Teixeira holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Lusíada do Porto. She worked as a Jurist / Principal Advisor in a Private Notary’s Office for 14 years.

According to José Nogueira, managing partner at RSN Advogados: “Joana and Luizete perform functions in two areas of enormous importance to the firm. The reinforcement of their responsibilities is unequivocal proof of their technical competence and the work they have been developing on behalf of our clients.”

He adds: “When you have a very high level of demand, as we have, it’s not always easy to find the right people. Therefore, it is with great satisfaction that we see that we were not wrong when we bet on these two professionals whose professional and human qualities have proved to be an enormous asset.”
