In the corporate compliance field, he advises companies on adopting good corporate governance measures and implementing legal compliance management systems.
Pilar Baltar, a partner in the labor department in Barcelona, will focus on advancing international matters and expanding the client base in the public sector. Over the past 15 years, Pilar has advised private and public sector companies, both national and international, on personnel management and legal defense in labor disputes. The DJV new names
Carlos Cabeza de Vaca and Isaac Arroyo join from DJV, a firm specializing in urban planning, procedural, and commercial law, which was integrated by RocaJunyent in June 2024.
Isaac Arroyo, an expert in urban planning, will lead the expansion of this area within the firm. He currently provides advice on urban planning matters, contentious-administrative procedures, administrative proceedings, licenses, compensation boards, report drafting, real estate contracts, urban management, urban discipline, and advice on environmental and renewable energy matters, including photovoltaic plants and wind farms.
Carlos Cabeza de Vaca, a mid-market M&A specialist, will strengthen the same area from Madrid, consolidating the firm’s presence in this market. His expertise covers various areas of business law, particularly commercial law. He advises companies in the technology, real estate, and consumer sectors on M&A transactions and financial restructuring. He also serves as secretary to the governing bodies of various companies and foundations and coordinates foreign law firms’ activities on international matters affecting companies with transnational interests.
“These appointments not only expands the firm’s service offerings but also reinforces its commitment to excellence and innovation in legal advisory services. The inclusion of these professionals underscores RocaJunyent’s strategy of integrating top-tier talent to consolidate its leadership in the sector”, states the firm.
