RocaJunyent in the acquisition of Grupo Telecable Fibra

Excom Group, the Spanish telecom group backed by private equity firm Formentor Capital and debt fund Kartesia, has completed the acquisition of Telecable Fibra Group.

Initiated in 1993 with the founding of the cable television provider Telecable Santa Pola, Telecable Fibra Group is currently one of the leading independent telecommunications operators in Spain with a network of 160,000 fiber to the home (FTTH) accesses, 20,000 FTTH clients and 4,000 Wimax clients.

Following the integration of Telecable Fibra Group, Excom Group will exceed 40 million in revenues this year and will achieve a strategic market position in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia to continue growing organically and integrating local operators.

In the last two years, Excom Group has quadrupled its size through the acquisition and integration of a total of nine operators (four of them within the last two months), being advised by the RocaJunyent team led by Carlos Blanco Morillo on the mentioned acquisitions.

On this deal, Excom Group was counselled by RocaJunyent’s Madrid office team led by Corporate and M&A partner Carlos Blanco Morillo (pictured), senior associates Javier Arenas Olivencia and Elena Ferrer Velasco, and associates Íñigo Oliván García and Mariano Renedo Laguna.
