Rita Tavares Catarino joins Lopes Barata & Associados

Lopes Barata & Associados has integrated Rita Tavares Catarino as a senior associate in the employment law practice. Before joining Lopes Barata & Associados, she was a senior associate at AFMA and served as legal and compliance director at Adecco Portugal.

With 21 years of experience, Rita Tavares Catarino has built her career both in law firms and in an in-house context, particularly in the areas of human resources and banking. Throughout her career, she has advised boards of directors and management teams, as well as national and international corporate clients, with a strong focus on individual and collective employment relations.

Her experience includes the day-to-day legal support of national and multinational companies operating in Portugal, participation in legal audits, handling employment litigation, and the development of internal training programmes.
