Ricardo Rocha joins Abreu as associate partner

Abreu Advogados has hired Ricardo Rocha as associate partner in the healthcare, life sciences & pharmaceuticals sector. He joins from PLMJ, where he served as managing associate. With extensive experience in the sector he focuses his practice on regulatory and market access matters, with particular emphasis on pricing and reimbursement, distribution and commercialisation of medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food supplements and specialised nutrition products.

Throughout his career, Rocha has regularly advised national and multinational pharmaceutical companies and other industry operators, supporting the entire product lifecycle, from marketing authorisation to patient access. He also advises healthcare providers across all areas of their activity.

Ricardo Rocha holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, a master’s degree in Corporate Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate qualification in Health Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. He also attended the postgraduate programme in Public Procurement Law at the same institution
