PwC reinforces M&A and Insolvency areas

PwC Tax & Legal has strengthened its M&A and Insolvency practices with the incorporations of Ana Torres and Manuela Serrano as partners in the Barcelona and Madrid offices, respectively

PwC Tax & Legal has recently hired Ana Torres and Manuela Serrano to strengthen its M&A and Private Equity and Insolvency and Restructuring practices, respectively. Ana Torres (pictured left) comes from Clifford Chance where, until now, she was counsel in the Corporate department and led the Private Funds practice in Spain, which she will also lead at PwC Tax and Legal at a national level.

Manuela Serrano (pictured right) joins from Ceca Magán Abogados, where she was the partner in charge of the Insolvency and Restructuring practice and will be the national head of this practice at PwC Tax and Legal. Both join as partners in the Barcelona and Madrid offices, respectively.

With these hires, PwC Tax and Legal strengthens its Legal services in the areas of Private Funds and Corporate Restructuring, two areas of growth for the firm, both due to the dynamism of the funds market and the situation generated by the liquidity pandemic.
