PwC advises on Expo Inox-Practic deal

PwC has advised the sellers on the acquisition of a controlling stake in Practic by Italian industrial group Expo Inox, in which RedFish LongTerm Capital holds a 20% stake.

The transaction marks Expo Inox’s entry into the share capital of the Valencia-based company, which specialises in residential ventilation and smoke evacuation systems and has a track record of more than 100 years. Under the terms of the deal, the selling family will retain a minority stake to ensure a smooth transition and preserve the company’s long-standing corporate values.

The teams

The PwC Tax & Legal team was led by Ivan Echevarria (Director) and Inés Sánchez (Senior Associate).

On the buyer’s side, RedFish LongTerm Capital was represented internally by Matteo Buonomo (Associate) and Silvia Marna Bruni (Analyst), alongside Alberto Pirotta (Director of Expo Inox). Legal advice for the buyers was provided by Italian firm Solving, with a team comprising partner Tiziana Del Prete and associate Niccolò Pedrazzini.

Expo Inox’s leadership team involved in the transaction includes Mauro Travini, Alberto Pirotta, and Massimo Pomati.
